We accept Long-Term Care Insurance and can assist with the application process.

For Those Using Long-Term Care Insurance
Necessary Procedures and Our Support to Help You Use the System with Confidence

Long-Term Care Insurance is a powerful system that can cover part or all of your caregiving costs.
However, if there is a mismatch between the insurance policy and the actual services provided, claims may be denied.

At Holly Services, we offer comprehensive support—from preparing applications to maintaining records and submitting required documentation—so you can use your benefits properly and receive stable care services.

Here’s How the Process Works

1. Confirming Your Insurance Coverage

*Your Responsibility or That of Your Family

First, please review the details of your current insurance policy:

What types of care are covered? (e.g., assistance with Activities of Daily Living – ADLs)

What services are excluded? (e.g., housekeeping or supervision only)

Are there any Elimination Periods (waiting periods before coverage begins) or Benefit Caps (maximum payout limits)?

These details are critical in determining whether your insurance will cover certain services.

We recommend checking directly with your insurance provider or agent and sharing this information with Holly Services to ensure a smooth process.

*Medicare is not accepted

2. Pre-Authorization Documentation for the Insurance Company

*Prepared by Holly Services

To use insurance benefits for caregiving services, the following documents must be submitted to the insurance company in advance:

  • California HCO (Home Care Organization) license number

  • A customized Plan of Care for each client

These documents will be professionally prepared and submitted by Holly Services after an initial assessment.

3. Start of Care Services and Ongoing Documentation

Once all conditions are met, Holly Services will begin providing care services.

It’s essential that the services delivered during each visit match what is stated in the Plan of Care.

*Any discrepancies may result in denial of insurance reimbursement.

We’re here to help — in the way that works best for you.
